PayPoint.net is delighted to announce that we have partnered with Sysnet, a leading provider of Information Security assurance and payment card industry compliance services- providing all of our customers with access to Securus - Sysnet's online PCI DSS compliance portal.
PayPoint.net is already PCI DSS Level 1 Compliant - the highest possible security standard - ensuring that our merchants do not need to store their own card data. This partnership will, however, benefit our merchants that already store their own card data and/or have their own PCI requirements.

The Securus portal enables merchants to complete Self Assessment Questionnaires (SAQs) online, at any time. The reporting function can be used to send compliance reports as they are requested, far more cost effectively than the conventional method of using as assessor. In addition, the portal allows merchants to book quarterly vulnerability scans online and have the results populated through the portal.
Level 2, 3 and 4 merchants have the opportunity to achieve PCI DSS Certification with the tools provided by Securus. Additionally PayPoint.net customers can also call or email a QSA (Qualified Security Assessor) for effective, experienced advice regarding their particular business needs. Level 1 merchants will have the opportunity to deal directly with Sysnet for a full security review. The system is earmarked to be in operation at the end of 2009.
