24 hour compliance checklist

Required Documentation Checklist for 24 hour Internet Merchant Account applications

Follow our checklist and start trading online with PayPoint.net in 24 hours. Please ensure all of the required documentation outlined below is printed, signed, scanned and emailed to us within 24 hours of applying for your account.

For all businesses

  • Proof of ID and Address – required for all Directors and shareholders that hold 25% shares or more in the Company
  • A certified copy of government issued photo ID e.g. a passport.

Plus

  • A certified copy of a utility bill or bank statement dated within the last 2 months. We regret that we cannot accept mobile phone bills

Your documentation can be certified by any of the following:

  • Solicitor
  • Notary
  • Post Office document checking service
  • Certified Chartered Accountant (the accountant will also need to submit a copy of their valid membership card showing their status and validity with their respective accounting body)
  • Company Registration details and your business trading name
  • VAT Registration - If you are not VAT registered, please let us know why
  • Business Bank Account Statement - This is required for each settlement account

For businesses already trading online

* Processing statements from the last 3 months. These must show sales, refunds and chargeback history

For businesses new to card processing

  • A Business Plan
  • Your Experience - Short outline about the previous industry experience of each Director
  • Proof of stock - If your business trades in tangible goods, invoices from suppliers or drop-ship agreements are require

Website Compliance Checklist

Our Compliance Team needs to check your website to ensure that it meets with the terms as set out by our acquiring bank, so please ensure that it is fully accessible online. For these purposes, the following information needs to be clearly displayed on your website.

  • Your full legal company name and address
  • A full product list - This must include descriptions and prices
  • A customer contact email address - The following statement must also be included: ‘All customer queries will be answered within 48 hours’
  • A refund/cancellation policy - If you do not offer refunds/cancellations, this must be stated clearly on the website
  • A shipping policy -  Please include any exportation requirements or restrictions
  • Appropriate payment scheme logos -  Please display the logos of Visa, Mastercard and any other payment schemes that you accept
